Movie News: OGs Return for X-Men’s Next Installment

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will be returning to Marvel Studios to reprise their roles as Professor-X and Magneto in the upcoming chapter of the X-Men Origins series, Days of Future Past

This is pretty big considering James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender will also be playing their roles as the younger versions, as they did in the prequel, First Class. The rest of the main cast will also make their returns as well, possibly along with some new and familiar faces (but regardless, they’ll be new to this current X-Men series since they weren’t in the last movie, obviously) as Days will be depicting the events of the comic book storyline. Shit’s gonna be cray cray (2 crays for emphasis).

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!: Deadpool Is Getting His Crack At Videogame Fame

Up until now, Deadpool has been kept in the back burner of Marvel’s team of super-powered protagonists. Between 1991 and about, let’s say, 2009, only hardcore comic fans would have any inkling of who this humorous homicidal maniac is. Since his appearances as the near-unstoppable, silent bad guy in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, his usual loudmouth, havoc-wreaking self in 2011’s popular video game Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (and among other minor video game roles), he’s been getting some shine and in late 2012/early 2013 our new favorite anti-hero will be getting the recognition he deserves with his own video game. Geeks everywhere are rejoicing. The only issue I have is the “Suck it Wolverine” jab he throws at the end of the trailer but we already know why he’s mad in the first place. View and enjoy:

The wave of Marvel madness continues with the Spiderman movie reboot on the way. It’s a bit darker and more personal than the original series and plenty of moviegoers are skeptical but Marvel rarely makes mistakes, especially when it comes to one of their most prized superheroes. Watch the trailer and decide for yourself.

Avengers XXX: A Porn Parody by Axel Braun

Imitation really is the highest form of flattery. With the highly anticipated release of Marvel’s The Avengers on the way, featuring Hollywood stars as our most beloved comic book heroes, porn director Axel Braun has decided to utilize his love for Earth’s mightiest heroes and throw his take on all the action, ultimately mixing business with pleasure. His resume includes parodies of other popular comic book and television series’ as well. Avengers features well known adult film stars and even former WWF wrestler Chyna. Yikes.
