Watch| New Trailer "Superman: Man of Steel"

It’s fair to say “Superman: Man of Steel” is a highly anticipated (that phrase will someday have to be retired) movie, due, in no small part, to its creative pedigree (Christopher “Dark Knight Trilogy” Nolan is that god father behind the film) and director Zack Snyder. Now we have more gris for the fanboy mill, the second trailer has dropped, and gives us a better look at this origin story. There’s young Clark rescuing a bus full of his class mates, Ma and Pa Kent warning their son to protect his identity, we even get a glimpse of Lois Lane. Oh, and there are plenty of nifty action shots, less you think this will be a disaster like the last reboot. Check it out for yourself, and let’s hash it out in the comments sections.

A ‘Jumanji’ Remake Is Going to Happen

At this point, complaining about Hollywood remaking everything under the sun is a futile endeavor. Mostly because Hollywood doesn’t give a shit what you think. So the only way to process the news of a remake to the 1995 family adventure, “Jumanji“, might just have to be a Kanye-shrug. Guess, it really depends on how fond you are of the movie, staring Robin Williams, about a magical board game that cause a bunch of kooky shit to go down (like a random jungle popping up in the suburbs).
Either way, ready or not, THR says, Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction) is set to write the reimagining of the flick. Which means you can probably look out for it in 2014. Ugh, why does it take so long to make movies? Tv shows get shot in like a week. But that’s a first-world rant for another time.

Teaser trailers are so mean. (when they’re good)They titillate you into a lather of excitement over the impending movie and then you realize it wont come out until NEXT YEAR!! Argh! Thus is the case with the new teaser for the J.J. Abrams directed Star Treksequel, Star Trek: Into Darkness. Pretty sure there’s more to it than that but, like we said, you’re going to have to wait until next year to see it.

New Superman ‘Man of Steel’ Movie Poster Comes Out

This poster for the new Superman movie “Man of Steel”, directed by Zack ‘300’ Snyder and starring Henry Cavill,  premiered today on “The Dark Knight Rises” official Facebook page (talk about corporate synergy). Anyway, looks like the studio is starting to get their promo game on and poppin’ ahead of the much anticipated movies June 2013 premiere (this ones going to be a slow drip folks). To that end, the official trailer will debut ahead of Peter Jacksons “Hobbit” project.

In the poster you see the Man of Steel with handcuffs on, surrounded by dude in army gear. So. many. questions: Like, what the hell could that mean? Who has the power to arrest Superman? and where’s my retainer?

Movie News: OGs Return for X-Men’s Next Installment

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will be returning to Marvel Studios to reprise their roles as Professor-X and Magneto in the upcoming chapter of the X-Men Origins series, Days of Future Past

This is pretty big considering James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender will also be playing their roles as the younger versions, as they did in the prequel, First Class. The rest of the main cast will also make their returns as well, possibly along with some new and familiar faces (but regardless, they’ll be new to this current X-Men series since they weren’t in the last movie, obviously) as Days will be depicting the events of the comic book storyline. Shit’s gonna be cray cray (2 crays for emphasis).
