It has been a good week for the Jamaicans, who celebrated 50 years of independence on Monday. Not only did their reigning champion win the Carribbean island another gold medal in the 200 meter race, but Yohan Blake (the greatest thing Bolt has to competition) and Warren Weir went home with silver and bronze, respectively.
Three Jamaican flags were raised in the medal ceremony as thousands of people looked on and cheered the man who made a rare piece of history at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
