In a sold-out stadium with anticipation from the crowd, Bolt lived up to his name and remained the champion of this race. Bolt raced against some of the fastest men in the world, including his rival and friend Yohan Blake, who walked away with a silver medal in this same race.

Taking the title from Tyson Gay as the fastest man in the world in 2008, Bolt just covered 100 meters of ground in 9.63 seconds and in 41 strides, setting an Olympic record. He is the fastest man in the world, still.

Bolt and Blake’s victory came just in time for their fellow Jamaicans, who celebrate 50 years of independence tomorrow.

Show and Prove: 50 Cent in Somalia For Street King

When Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson first announced his Street King Energy Drink he stated that every single bottle sold was the equivalent of ONE meal provided for the needy facilitated by the United Nations World Food Program

This, albeit very commendable, was not well received by his immediate audience. 50 caught flack from many people questioning the particulars of this new endeavor, not entirely faithful that the money was going to the right place and in response 50 launched another campaign stating that “One Like = One Meal” meaning that if users on Facebook clicked the Like button on his Street Kind Facebook page one meal would be provided. This again was not well received.

In the following video we see 50 Cent travel to Somalia followed by an ABC News crew who interviews him pointing out that this new helpful, mature and conscious 50 Cent may not jibe well with his immediate following and may hinder record sales to which 50 Cent responds “I don’t care if my audience is prepared to move forward…They may not necessarily be growing at the same pace.
